In case involving female student's right to try out for boys' football team, Commissioner of Education declined to award counsel fees under Law Against Discrimination. Decision: 12 N.J.A.R. 232
Employee Indemnification
N.J.S.A. 18A:16-06 which provides for the indemnification of a board of education employee for expenses incurred in civil actions does not envision direct payment of counsel fees to an attorney. The statute provides solely for the repayment of fees to officers and employees who have incurred expenses in defending a civil action. Decision: 1 N.J.A.R. 162
