Employment Records
A former policeman's employment records could be considered in deciding whether he should remain on an elibility list for a police position, even though the records were sealed as the result of a settlement of a previous disciplinary matter. Decision: 12 N.J.A.R. 217
Fitness--Personal Integrity
Respondent's conduct was inconsistent with the dependability and personal integrity required in a police officer. Therefore, his name was removed from an unemployment eligibility list. Decision: 12 N.J.A.R. 217
Misconduct Related to Public Duties
Conviction of patrolman for aggravated sexual assault warrants forfeiture of pension rights. The misconduct is related to public duties because a police officer is obligated to obey all laws and to maintain an image of personal integrity and dependability. Decision: 10 N.J.A.R. 178
Termination
Termination of police officer was proper even though he did not receive the required preliminary notice because appellant was fully aware of the action being taken to remove him. Decision: 13 N.J.A.R. 598
