Controlled Dangerous Substance
Offenses relating to the possession of controlled dangerous substances do involve moral turpitude. Decision: 8 N.J.A.R. 517
Pensions
A conviction of the federal offense of misapplication of bank funds involves moral turpitude since it involves an intent to defraud; accordingly the individual's years of state service are rendered dishonorable and he is not eligible for service credits in the pension system. Decision: 2 N.J.A.R. 123
Police Officer
Conviction of patrolman for aggravated sexual assault involved moral turpitude of the highest order and warranted forfeiture of pension rights. Decision: 10 N.J.A.R. 178
Tenured Teaching Staff
Acts which are not, in and of themselves, acts of vice or fraud do not automatically involve moral turpitude. Decision: 1 N.J.A.R. 381
