Citation: 2 N.J.A.R. 334
Decision Date: 1980
Synopsis: Tenured teacher with seventeen years of experience was dismissed from his employment due to his lack of classroom control and incapacity to teach in his assigned area. The record was extensive with testimony from supervisors, teachers, pupils and parents detailing the loud talking lessons, disinterest and disrespect shown by pupils, and general poor behavior of the pupils. This evidence as to the lack of classroom control was so broad and encompassing that it was unnecessary to examine individually the seven other remaining charges relating to the teacher' s ability.
