EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 21

EXECUTIVE ORDER transferring to the Department of Labor and Industry the Statistical Branch of Plant Industry in the Department of Agriculture.

WHEREAS, in the interest of efficiency and the more economical administration of the State government I have adjudged it necessary to transfer to the Depoartment of Labor and Industry the Statistical Branch of Plant Industry in the Department of Agriculture:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALFRED E. DRISCOLL, Governor of the State of New Jersey, by virtue of the authority conferred by law upon me, do hereby order and direct that effective March 1, 1950 the Statistical Branch of Plant Industry of the Department of Agriculture is hereby transferred to the Department of Labor and Industry together with its employees, appropriations and office supplies and equipment and the functions of such Statistical Branch of Plant Industry shall hereafter be exercised subject to the supervision and direction of the Commissioner of Labor and Industry.
